The Department of Orthopedics is staffed by top level scientific and nursing staff that holds remarkable experience in the application of the most modern techniques pertaining to both conservative and interventional management on a 24-hour basis.
All surgical interventions are performed in special Operating Rooms that feature all required medical equipment [special orthopedic operating tables, modern radiological equipment (C-ARM)] for closed treatment of traumas, where needed.
We also perform Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), which results in short hospital stay and fast recovery.
At our Clinic, any trauma or chronic condition is managed and treated by the simultaneous support of Physicians in all specialties.
Trauma: intramedullary nailing, dynamic and functional fracture fixation, internal osteosynthesis, semi-total arthroplasty.
Arthroscopic Surgery: ligamentoplasty in anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments, meniscal tear repair, rotator cuff injuries, chondroplsty, Osteochondritis Dissecans.
Surgical joint repair: hip, knee, shoulder, interphalangeal joint replacement, bunions, claw toes, functional restoration of articular spasticity by tendon transfer.
Spine : management of fractures, herniated discs by microdiscectomy or discoplasty, spinal stenoses, spinal deformities.
